Tomorrow and Friday the European Conference on agro-industry will take place in Villa Contarini.

Tomorrow and the day after ( Thursday 11 and Friday 12 February ) the European Conference on agro-industry will take place in Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta. During these two days politicians, economists and scholars will discuss the topic of innovation in the division of the agro-industrial sector. In particular Veneto's experience will be illustrated.
Tomorrow morning the conference will be opened by Michel Coomans of the European Commission and Franco Manzato, Vice-President of the Veneto Region. They will present reports for the European commission on the topic '' The high level group, a prospect''; for the Minister of agriculture, Riccardo Deserti on '' the Italian agricultural system''; Serafino Pitingaro of Veneto Union Camere's Center for the study and Alessandro Censori of Veneto Agricoltura will illustrate the profile of our Region's agro-industrial system.
During the morning "Lattebusche" will introduce the case ''Innovations and production process in the field of dairy products''.
The workshops will take place during the afternoon.
On Friday morning the minister of agriculture Luca Zaia is scheduled to take part in the conference. During the second day the policies and the European devices of support to the agro-industrial field will be illustrated.
