It started in Padua, in the heart of northeastern Italy, the first leg of the INNOVATION FORUM, the road show sponsored by the Minister for Public Administration and Innovation, Mr. Renato Brunetta.

Four working sessions and one exhibition session where the territory's top representatives met with a purpose: join efforts on innovation policies, in order to promote a new and common innovation authority.
The first meeting was hosted and co-promoted by the Veneto Region and was especially dedicated to the north-east, an area that on several occasions proved to be able to renew its vocation by anticipating the difficulties of the system and detecting strategies for change and innovation.
Innovative districts, research centers developed in strict cooperation with local entrepreneurs, business incubators, projects for local health facilities; functioning administrations engaged in the task of introducing new managerial elements, openness, participation and social reporting. These are just a few features that apply to the territory, which will have to face the national policy on innovation priorities.
Local participants – the territory's top representatives – were present with their projects for innovation and their technological solutions in an exhibition session.
For public institutions and companies taking part in the event, this was the occasion to show both projects already put into practice and at study, sharing ideas on innovations, methodologies and results with the other participants.
